Buffalo, NY — A man was hospitalized after causing a car accident in Buffalo, New York, on Monday, February 16, 2015. The accident took place in the 800 block of Tonawanda Street around 6:00 in the evening.
The man’s name has not been released. Police identified him only as a 66-year old Kenmore resident. Reports say the man lost control of his vehicle and crossed into oncoming traffic where he crashed into another vehicle being driven by a 69-year old woman.
Emergency workers took the man to Erie County Medical Center. Reports say that he is in critical condition.
The woman injured in the accident was taken to Kenmore Mercy Hospital where she was treated and released. Police are currently investigating the accident.

I don’t know what caused this accident. I know what it looks like. But I can say that I’ve seen a hundred accidents just like this in the past where the cause seemed pretty obvious in the beginning, but turned out to have been caused by something completely different after a complete and thorough investigation. The point is, jumping the gun in these situations never did anyone any favors. It’s always best to wait until all the facts have come out.
