One, WV — The driver of a tractor-trailer suffered critical injuries in a single-vehicle accident in Ona, West Virginia, on Friday, February 13, 2015. The accident happened on Interstate 64 between Milton and Barboursville.
Police identified Robert Wade as the driver of a propane truck who drove off the side of the road and over-corrected before losing control and rolling over into the median. The accident is still being investigated, but officials have theorized that the over-correction caused the propane to shift, which caused the truck to roll over.
Emergency workers had to extricate Wade from the vehicle before taking him to Mary’s Medical Center. At last report, he was listed in critical condition.
No other injuries were reported in the accident.
