Accidents like this can be a little tricky because so many people are involved, and many of them are going to be pointing the finger at each other in regards to who’s responsible for the damage. It’s important to remember this little known fact that applies after any car accident: Legally, no one is obligated to makes things right with a victim after an accident takes place. They’re not obligated to cover medical bills or any damage done to an automobile. Insurance companies know this, and are more than willing to take advantage of the confusion that an accident like this will cause. It’s important for those involved in these accidents to educate themselves on how they’re handled, because insurance companies have no qualms about taking advantage of someone who’s in unfamiliar waters.
