Commentary:
Considering the accident happened at a time when people are typically making their way home from the bar after closing it down, is it really crazy to think that a bar may have given the driver too much to drink? What bearing does this have on how the accident will be handled? Well, quite a bit actually. If the driver became intoxicated at his home and decided to go for a joyride that happened to coincide with bar’s closing time, then the accident will probably be on their shoulders, but if the offending driver gave a local bartender or server the opportunity to cut them off when they began to show signs of intoxication, then that bar needs to be seen as an accomplice and punished right along side the driver.
