Knox County, IL — Two people were killed in a car accident in Knox County, Illinois, on Tuesday, February 10, 2015. The accident happened at the intersection of Knox highways 2 and 6, around 3:30 in the afternoon.
According to local reports, Clinton Miles was traveling west on Highway 2 in a vehicle with Wyatt Obermeier, while Chloie Unger was traveling north in a vehicle with Kylie Blickem. The two vehicles collided in the middle of the intersection.
It’s important to note that Highway 2 has a stop sign, while Highway 6 does not.
Obermeier and Blickem were killed in the collision. Paramedics took Miles to OSF St. Francis Medical Center, while Unger was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital. Both suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The accident is still being investigated.
