Port Arthur, TX — A man was hospitalized after being involved in a single-vehicle car accident in Coalinga, California, on Wednesday, February 11, 2015. The accident took place in the 700 block of West Elm Avenue, around 1:00 in the afternoon.
David Maurer was traveling down West Elm when he drove off the road and crashed into a tree. He became pinned inside his vehicle and had to be extricated by emergency workers.
Maurer was injured in the accident and taken to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno for treatment. The extent of his injuries is unknown.
Police are currently investigating the accident.
