Jon-Luc Lewis Hit and Injured by Semi-Truck on US-59 in Edna, TX

According to local news reports from Edna, TX, 21-year old Jon-Luc Lewis was injured on November 18, 2012 after his motorcycle was hit by a semi-truck along US-59. Lewis was riding north along US-59 near the Lavaca River when a semi-truck that was hauling another tractor-trailer attempted to switch lanes and hit his motorcycle.

Lewis then crashed his bike, breaking his ankle and sustaining other nonfatal injuries in the process. He was taken to a nearby hospital and was reported to be in good condition at the latest update. Police did not say if the truck driver, 58-year old David Aleman, would face charges.
