Amarillo, TX — There was an accident reported this past Saturday (February 7, 2015) that left at least four people injured, police are saying. A Chevrolet Blazer and a Jeep collided with one another along Amarillo Boulevard, causing the Chevy to flip over.
This happened along Amarillo Blvd at Hayes Street, they said. According to the reports, the Chevy Blazer was driving west on Amarillo Blvd that evening while the Jeep was headed east.
As they neared Hayes Street, the Chevy tried to make a left turn onto Hayes and was hit by the Jeep. The accident caused the Chevy SUV to overturn and come to rest on its side, the news said. The man driving the Blazer was injured and taken to a hospital.
Three people in the Jeep, one male and two females, were also injured and taken to a hospital as well. It’s not clear how serious any of these injuries were, but the man in the Jeep allegedly had a head injury. Right now, the Amarillo PD is still investigating.
