VAN NUYS, CA — One person was taken to the hospital after a fall accident that happened in Van Nuys, California on Sunday, February 8th, 2015. The news said that the accident happened sometime Sunday afternoon.
Police familiar with details of the accident said that an as-of-yet unidentified worker was hurt when he fell into a vat of 180 degree mash at the Anheuser-Busch brewery. It is not clear what caused the man to fall.

Commentary:
Did the victim in this accident have the proper safety equipment? Was this vat of dangerously hot materials supposed to be open to the point a full grown adult male could fall into it? Was the victim experienced in what he was doing at the time of the accident? Was he warned and trained of all the potential risks of working over an open container of hot materials? I’d be very interested to know more about what happened in this accident so I can figure out for myself what may have happened, and who may be responsible.
