Perry Hall, MD — Early in the morning on Thursday, February 5, there was an accident reported in Perry Hall that involved an 18-wheeler truck. According to the news reports, an 18-wheeler truck was cut off by a Hyundai along Honeygo Boulevard at about 8:00 a.m. today.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was forced to swerve off the roadway, where it hopped a curb and crashed into a white house on the corner of Honeygo and Cross Road. The 18-wheeler plowed into the side of the house and into the basement area. Of the two adults and four children inside, none were actually hit by the big rig and no serious injuries were reported.
The 18-wheeler’s driver, who was driving for BGE, was taken to a hospital along with the Hyundai’s driver who cut him off. It’s not clear how serious the injuries were, but the news seemed to believe that nobody was in life-threatening condition.
