JACKSON TOWNSHIP, NJ — Ashish Karnik was identified as the driver that was hurt in a dump truck accident that happened in Jackson Township, New Jersey on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2015. The report said that the accident happened at about 7:30 Tuesday morning.
Ashish Karnik was injured when the Toyota Prius he was driving collided with a dump truck while driving on Interstate 195. Officials said that the Prius may have lost control and struck the rear of the dump truck that was salting the roadways.
Emergency responders rushed Karnik to a nearby hospital where he was being treated for unspecified injuries.
The New Jersey State Police are investigating the accident at this time.

Did it have any kind of warning lights or hazard triangles active and visible?
