CHENEY, KS — One person was injured in a fall that happened in Cheney, Kansas on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2015. Local news reports said that the accident happened early Tuesday morning.
One person was taken to the hospital after a fall at a pump station in the 39000 block of North 21st Street. The news report said that the unidentified 59-year-old man was hurt when he fell from a 30 foot height for reasons currently under investigation.
The man was taken by EMS to nearby St Francis Hospital where he was being treated for unspecified injuries.
Officials are currently investigating the accident.

Does anybody know anything more about this accident than the meager details the news has provided? What was the worker doing when he fell? Was he provided the proper safety equipment? Was he qualified to be doing what he was doing? Did anybody witness the accident? I’d be interested to know more about what happened simply because the news seems to have no clue.
