Commentary:
This accident is really going to come down to the accuracy of the news reports. If the news is right, then the pickup truck that did the crossing over is more than likely going to bear fault in the accident. Crossover accidents happen for a litany of reasons. Some drivers nod off at the wheel, some are hypnotized by the road, some are distracted things in the vehicle like food or cell phones. Whatever the reason, there would be evidence, and all it would take to know for sure is the right people looking under all the right stones.
