Mason City, IA — A man was sent to the hospital following a car accident in Mason City, Iowa, on Thursday, January 29, 2015. The accident happened in the 4400 block of 310th Street, around 5:00 in the morning.
Police say that William Knoke was headed west on 310th Street when he lost control of his vehicle and slid off the road and into a ditch. His vehicle rolled, coming to a rest on its top.
Emergency workers arrived on the scene and transported to Knoke to Mercy Medical Center. The extent of his injuries is not known.
No one else was reported injured in the accident in accident, and no other vehicles were involved.
Reports say that roads were icy at the time of the accident.
