Fallowfield Township, PA — Three people died in an accident with a semi-truck in Fallowfield Township, Pennsylvania, on Friday, January 16, 2015. The accident happened on Interstate 70, around 9:30 at night.
Police reports say that three individuals were spotted in a minivan and driving at a high rate of speed. The minivan was headed west when it crashed into the back of a semi-trailer headed in the same direction. The force of the crash pushed the semi into a Volvo in the next lane.
The victim’s vehicle crashed into a barrier and caught fire. The three people inside were identified as Frank Kramer, Taylor Kramer, and Kristy Kramer. All three died at the scene of the crash.
There was no word on the driver of the semi-truck or the individuals inside the Volvo, and any injuries the may have sustained.
The cause for the accident is currently unknown. Police are investigating.
