Update [January 120, 2015]: The name of the man killed in this accident was released as Kevin Coon, 40 years old.
Lewisville, Texas — Over the weekend, a man was killed in the Lewisville after being hit by a car. Police haven’t released the name of the man who died, but they said that they think it was a hit-and-run accident. One report said that the man’s name was Kevin, but that hasn’t been confirmed yet.
It happened on Saturday morning, January 17, at about 12:30 a.m. after midnight. The man was apparently walking along I-35 near Fox Avenue’s overpass when he tried to cross I-35 on foot.
After making it to the southbound lanes, he was truck by a car that fled the scene. The man was found deceased and his name hasn’t been released yet. Police think he was in his 40’s. The driver of the car left behind pieces of their headlights, so police are looking for a car that would have broken headlights and front-end damage.
