Killeen, TX — Earlier today (Thursday, January 15), there was a rollover accident on U.S. 190 that left a 38-year old woman critically injured. Police said that the accident may have been alcohol related, according to the news reports, and that it happened around 8:00 a.m.
It appears that a Dodge Durango SUV was headed east along U.S. 190 this morning when the 38-year old woman driving lost control near the Stan Schlueter Loop. The Dodge SUV hit a construction barrel and then flipped over, coming to rest near a bridge.
The woman inside was critically injured and had to be extricated from her vehicle, whereupon she was taken to a hospital for be treated. Right now, it’s not clear why she lost control of her SUV, but that’s under investigation.
