GENEVA, FL — One person has died following a two-vehicle accident that was reported in Geneva, Florida on Tuesday, January 6th, 2015. News articles said that the accident happened at about 7:40 Tuesday morning.
Police believe that an unidentified 21-year-old man died when the Buick Skylark he was driving and a Ford F-150 pickup truck collided while driving at the intersection of Ridge Road and State Road 46. The news report did not say how the accident happened, only that the front end of the pickup truck collided with the Buick.
The driver of the Buick was pronounced dead after the accident. The driver of the pickup truck was taken to Central Florida Regional Hospital where she was being treated for unspecified injuries.
The investigation is being handled by officials from the Florida State Police working with local agencies.
