TOLEDO, OH — Alicia Rivera, Miguel Guzman, and Danny Gomez were identified as the three people taken to the hospital after a car accident that happened in Toledo, Ohio on Thursday, January 1st, 2014. The news article from NBC 24 said that the accident happened around 4:00 Thursday morning.
20-year-old Alicia Rivera, 18-year-old Miguel Guzman, and 25-year-old Danny Guzman were hurt when the car they were in crashed on Interstate 75. Accident investigators think that the car drove off the road and spun into a guardrail before driving up an incline.
Rivera, Guzman, and Gomez were taken to the hospital for unspecified injuries. The driver of the vehicle was identified in the news as 22-year-old Esmerelda Guzman, who is currently being investigated for drunk driving in connection with the accident.
Ohio State Police are investigating the crash at this time.
