BEAUMONT, TX — Eight people were taken to the hospital after an accident between a car and a tractor-trailer that happened in Beaumont, Texas on Wednesday, November 26th, 2014. The news article from 12 News Now said that the accident happened around 11:15 Wednesday morning.
Police in charge of the accident investigation said that eight people were hurt when a Ford Mustang, A GMC Sierra, and a tractor-trailer collided while driving in the 1400 block of Ashley Avenue. Authorities believe that the tractor-trailer was turning into ACT Pipe when the Mustang swerved to avoid it. When the GMC tried to avoid the accident, another van behind it struck it from the rear.
Three people in the mustang, and five people in the van were taken to the hospital after the accident.
The Beaumont Police Department is still going over the details of the crash.
