Las Vegas, NV — Two men lost their lives in a motorcycle accident in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday, December 20, 2014. The accident took place at the intersection of Valley View Drive and Capella Street, around 12:45 in the afternoon.
Reports say that a motorcycle traveling north on Valley View crashed into a car that was making a left-hand turn from Capella street. The drivers of both vehicles have been identified as Michael Savery and Eberado Jamrillo-Pedrasa, although reports haven’t made clear which individual was in which vehicle.
The force of the collision rolled the car over, and both men died. Also inside the car were a woman and a baby. Reports say the baby was partially ejected from the vehicle, although it did not suffer any major injuries. They were both taken to UMC Trauma. Their injuries were described as non-life-threatening. Their names were not released, and there’s been no update on their conditions.
Because the car involved in the accident flipped over, police are saying that the motorcycle’s speed was a contributing factor. The accident is still being investigated.
