Forney, TX — Four people were hospitalized following an accident that took place in Forney, Texas, on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. The accident happened on FM 741, near the intersection with Linda Circle, around 8:00 in the evening.
Reports say that two vehicles — a pickup truck and a minivan — collided head on. At this time, how exactly the accident occurred is unknown.
Emergency workers transported four individuals, who were all riding in the minivan, to a local hospital. Officials have described their injuries as non-life-threatening. Any injuries that may have been sustained by those in the pickup truck were not elaborated on.
Reports say that everyone was outside of their vehicles and alert when authorities arrived on the scene.
The names of those involved in the accident were not released. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.

There are too many unanswered questions for those who were involved to chart any sort of path forward yet. I will say that if any passengers were injured because of the something the driver of their vehicle did, the driver could be held liable for those injuries. Passengers are typically covered by the driver’s insurance policy, effectively making the driver responsible for his passengers.
