LINDEN, NJ — Ten people were taken to the hospital after a major chain reaction accident between several tractor-trailers and a transit bus in Linden, New Jersey on Wednesday, December 17th, 2014. News sources said that the accident happened just before 8:00 Wednesday morning.
Ten people were hurt when a tractor-trailer changed lanes and struck a New Jersey Transit Bus while driving on the New Jersey Turnpike. The bus was in the HOV lane when it was struck. Two other tractor-trailers were also involved, but the news did not specify how.
Ten people on the bus were taken by EMS personnel to a nearby hospital.
The New Jersey State Police are still going over the specifics of what happened in the accident, and expect to release more information in the coming days.
