Federal Way, WA — The woman who was killed after crashing into the back of a logging truck has been identified as 20-year old Cearra Dillard. The accident occurred in Federal Way, Washington, around 4:00 on the morning of Thursday, December 11, 2014.
According to local reports, Dillard ran into the back of a logging truck on Highway 18, near Weyerhaeuser Way. The logging truck continued driving after the collision. Officials say the driver didn’t know that he had been hit.
Emergency responders took the woman to Harborview Medical Center, where she passed away a short time later.
No other injuries were reported and no one else was involved in the crash. The name of the truck driver was not released.
