Chicago, IL — There was a car accident on Sunday morning this past weekend that killed two people and injured two others in Chicago’s Logan Square area. Police said that Lajada Jackson, 37, and a 40-year old man were both killed after their SUV was in an accident with two different cars.
It happened at about 3:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, December 7, 2014. Jackson was a passenger in a Chevrolet Tahoe that was being driven west along Webster Avenue by a 40-year old man. As they neared Lister Avenue, the Tahoe swerved out of its lane and clipped another car.
The driver, instead of stopped, continued to drive along Webster Avenue until he crashed into a tree and a parked car. The impact killed the 40-year old driver immediately as well as his front-seat passenger, Lajada Jackson.
At least two others were critically injured by the wreck, a man and a woman, but it’s not clear to which vehicle they belonged. Right now, police are still trying to investigate and determine what exactly happened.
