Detroit, MI — There was a major single-car accident that happened last week on Detroit’s east side that killed three men. Police identified the victims as Sedric Whaley, 24, Raheem Akbar, 24, and Ramon Bridges, 26.
All three men were riding in Bridges’ car, the news reports said, which he had apparently just acquired that day. It appears that Bridges was driving along Lakewood Street near Charlevoix Street last Wednesday afternoon (December 3, 2014) when he lost control while trying to turn.
His car ran off the road and hit a tree, killing all three men inside immediately. The car was allegedly going about 85 mph that day, but that hasn’t been confirmed yet. Police are still investigating this.
