Baldwinsville, NY — Last evening, there was a serious two-car accident that resulted in three people being injured, one of whom may face alcohol-related charges later on. Police said that April Burton, 49, and David Shelley were injured along with Jessica Pavlas, 30, after Pavlas’ car crashed into Burton’s.
According to the news reports, Pavlas was driving her car north along Cold Springs Road yesterday evening (Monday, December 8, 2014) when she lost control and veered into oncoming traffic. Her car then hit April Burton’s southbound Dodge minivan head-on, police said.
The accident critically injured Pavlas and sent both Burton and Shelley to a hospital as well. Police said that Shelley was more seriously injured, but that both were in stable condition.
Police said that Pavlas, however, is suspected of being intoxicated at the time of the accident and will likely face charges.
