Austin, TX — Georgia Esquivel was identified as the woman who was killed in a pedestrian accident in Austin, Texas, on Tuesday, November 11, 2014. The accident took place in the 5600 block of Sunshine Drive.
According to the report from the Austin Police Department, the 83-year old Esquivel was walking through the parking of McCallum High School on her way to a Veterans’ Day ceremony and was hit by GMC Denali. Emergency workers responding to the call pronounced her dead at the scene of the accident.
While there were witnesses to the accident, police have not yet confirmed the identity of the driver. The investigation into the accident is ongoing and anyone with information is being asked to call 512-974-5312.
