KANSAS CITY, MO — One child was killed and another was hurt after a two-vehicle accident that happened in Kansas City, Missouri on Wednesday, November 5th, 2014. The article from The Kansas City Star said that the crash happened at about 6:50 Wednesday morning.
9-year-old Ke-Aire Good was killed when the vehicle she was a passenger in crashed near the intersection of Burlington and East 13th Avenue. Authorities think the car drove off the road before it struck a flatbed truck from the rear that was parked just off the roadway.
Good died in the crash, while another child was taken to a nearby hospital.
The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
