Mottville Township, MI — Police identified John Null as the man who sustained serious injuries after a collision with a semi-truck in Mottville Township, Michigan, on Sunday, November 2, 2014. The accident occurred on US-12, around 12:45 in the afternoon.
According to a report from the area’s local NBC affiliate, Null was traveling west on 12 when he drove his van across road’s center line and crashed into a semi-truck. The collision pushed him off the road and sent him crashing into a tree.
Null sustained serious injuries in the crash and was taken by medical helicopter to Bronson Hospital. The driver of the semi was identified as Mohammad Alkazali. Reports did not say whether or not he was injured in the accident.
The accident is still being investigated. Police haven’t given any indication on what may have caused Null to drive into oncoming traffic.
