LAKELAND, FL — Luis Montanez was hurt in a tractor-trailer accident that happened in Lakeland, Florida on Tuesday, October 28th, 2014. The article released by The Ledger said that the accident happened at about 5:30 Tuesday morning.
26-year-old Luis Montanez was hurt when the Honda Civic he was driving and a tractor-trailer collided on Memorial Boulevard. Authorities said that the car struck the rear of the tractor-trailer.
Montanez was taken by EMS personnel to a nearby hospital for the treatment of critical injuries he sustained in the accident. The driver of the tractor-trailer was identfiied as 57-year-old Ronald Smith, who was not hurt in the crash.
Florida State Police officials are still investigating the crash.
