Amarillo, TX — There was an accident along Western Street last week in Amarillo, at the intersection with I-40’s access road, that injured two people. Police didn’t release any names, but said that it happened last Friday at about 3:00 p.m., October 24, 2014.
The vehicles involved were a Chevrolet Equinox and an Isuzu Rodeo. The Rodeo had been headed north along Western Street that afternoon, but came to a stop at the light for I-40’s access road.
As the Isuzu sat at the intersection, it started to roll forward and went into the path of an eastbound Chevy Equinox. The two vehicles collided, injured both drivers in the process. They were taken to a nearby hospital. At the last update, they were in good condition.
There was a baby in the Isuzu Rodeo, but paramedics confirmed that the child wasn’t harmed.
