FRANKLIN COUNTY, AL — Jimmy Stanphill and Maliaka Humphrey were killed in a major car accident that happened in Franklin County, Alabama on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2014. The report released by WHNT said that the accident took place just after 8:00 Wednesday night.
Both 73-year-old Jimmy Stanphill and 20-year-old Maliaka Humphrey were killed in an accident between a Buick Park Avenue and a Nissan Sentra on Co Rd 247 near the intersection with Highway 24. Police did not mention what may have caused the accident, only that the impact between the vehicles was head-on.
Stanphill and Humphrey died in the accident.
Alabama State Troopers were assisting in the accident investigation, and the road closure for cleanup.
