BERN TWP, PA — One person was taken to the hospital after a collision with a box truck that was reported in Bern Township, Pennsylvania on Thursday, October 16th, 2014. The report from WFMZ said that the crash happened around 10:45 Thursday morning.
Local police and accident investigation teams have said that they believe one person was hurt when the car they were driving and a box truck collided head on while driving on Route 183. Officials said that the car may h ave crossed the center lanes while driving southbound when it struck the box truck head-on.
The driver of the car had to be cut from the vehicle before he was taken to the hospital. The box truck driver was immediately unhurt in the accident.
