OCALA, FL — Rose Dawson-Haislit was hurt in an accident with a box truck in Ocala, Florida on Friday, October 10th, 2014. News sources said that the accident happened sometime Friday afternoon.
53-year-old Rose Dawson-Haislit was hurt when the DHL van she was driving and a box truck collided at on Southeast 32nd Street. The police said that the DHL van crossed into the lanes of oncoming traffic where it struck a Sherwin Williams box truck.
Dawson Haislit was taken to a nearby hsopital for unspecified injuries.
The driver of the box truck was identified as Christopher O’Brian, who was also injured.
Florida State Police officials are still evaluating the details surrounding the accident.
