Commentary:
The news painted a picture of a cement truck rear-ending a school bus at a railroad crossing. For the life of me I cannot see how this accident happened. If there was signage marking the railroad crossing, he would have had to overlook both the signs, and the bright yellow school bus directly in front of him. I cant really see many ways that this would have happened if the truck driver’s eyes were on the road. While the truck driver probably didnt have malicious intent, and was more than likely careless, should carelessness go unpunished at behind the wheel of any vehicle, let alone a cement truck?
