BRENTWOOD, NY — David Gonzalez was killed an accident with an alleged drunk driving accident that happened in Brentwood, New York on Saturday, October 4th, 2014. The news from CBS-NY said that the accident happened just before 6:00 Saturday morning.
29-year-old David Gonzalez was killed when the vehicle he was a passenger in crashed while driving in the southbound lanes of Grand Boulevard. Police with details of the investigation said that the car left the road before it struck a nearby tree just off the pavement.
Gonzalez was rushed to Southside Hospital where he died a short time later.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as 27-year-old Oscar Rivera, who currently faces drunk driving charges in connection with the fatal accident.
Police are still working to figure out what may have caused the crash.
