Overland Park, KS — Late last month, there was a major motorcycle-car accident along Quivira Road that left the motorcyclist with some very serious injuries. Authorities have recently confirmed that that motorcycle rider, 59-year old Patrick Strader, has passed away from his injuries.
The original accident happened along Quivira Road on Monday, September 28, 2014. Strader was riding his motorcycle along Quiviril that day near the Overland Park hospital at 106th Street when a car suddenly changed lanes.
Strader was cut off by the driver and his motorcycle crashed, injuring him and a passenger. Strader was taken to a hospital (it’s not clear if it was Overland Park Regional Medical Center – where the accident happened) and his passenger was treated for serious injuries as well.
On Wednesday, October 8, 2014, Patrick Strader passed away from his injuries. It’s not clear if the driver who cut Strader off that day in traffic will face any charges and the news reports didn’t provide many details about them.
