Wauwatosa, WI — Police said that a woman from West Allis died on Monday evening (September 22, 2014) after she was hit by a dump truck on Highway 100. This happened right on the Wauwatosa-Milwaukee border and the woman was later identified as Stacie Madsen, 44 years old.
Right now, it looks like Madsen was crossing Highway 100 near Bluemound Road at about 5:45 p.m. on Monday evening when she was hit by a passing dump truck.
The accident critically injured Madsen and she passed away at the scene. This happened near the Milwaukee County Zoo, and officials noted that this intersection is particularly busy.
The driver of the dump truck was not harmed and police said he was a 34-year old man. As of Tuesday, no charges are being filed and the local police are still working on their investigation.
