AMARILLO, TX — One person has died, and another was hospitalized following a collision between a car and a motorcycle that was reported in Amarillo, Texas on Saturday, August 30th, 2014, according to the news summary released by the Amarillo Globe.
Authorities tasked with leading the investigation have said that one man died, and another was hospitalized when two motorcycles collided with the rear of a Toyota Camry while driving on Interstate 27 around 3:30 Saturday afternoon.
One man was pronounced dead on the scene by emergency responders, and another was taken to Northwest Texas Hospital where an update on his condition was immediately unavailable.
The investigation into the crash is being handled by the Amarillo Police Department.
