TYLER COUNTY, TX — One man was killed in a serious accident that was reported in Tyler, Texas on Friday, August 29th, 2014, according to the article released by KJAS.
Police think that Jerry Read was killed when the 1977 Chevrolet pickup truck he was driving is thought to have veered off the pavement of Highway 69 around 7:00 Friday morning. The truck left the road before hitting a concrete culvert and rolling.
Officials say Jerry Rad was ejected from the truck in the midst of the accident and was consequently pronounced dead on the scene by local authorities when they arrived.
Department of Public Safety Troopers are helping local police with the investigation into the fatal accident.
