ELK GROVE, CA — A hit-and-run accident reportedly involved a tractor-trailer in Elk Grove, California on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2014, according to the report released by KCRA.
California State Police say that a tractor-trailer and other vehicles collided under unknown circumstances while driving on Interstate 5. The truck involved in the accident did not stay at the scene.
The report does not mention any injuries or fatalities attributed to the accident, nor does it mention how many vehicles were involved or their placement in the road at the time of the accident.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.

While there are no injuries outlined in this news report, just in case there were, they, or those in their position may wonder what can be done in a hit-and-run accident like this one. Unfortunately there isnt a great deal that can be done until the driver of the truck is found, or the company running the rig is uncovered. When and if the truck and driver are found, the goal should then focus on why they ran from the accident scene. While there is a possibility that the driver never felt the accident in the big truck, there is also a possibility that the driver was attempting to hide something, and both possibilities need to be explored with the same care.
