EL PASO, TX — One person has succumbed to their injuries following a road accident that happened in El Paso, Texas on Wednesday, August 20th, 2014, according to the official report released by The El Paso Police Department.
Police have said that they have reason to believe Luz Groescel was fatally injured when she was struck by a vehicle when he was walking along or trying to cross Lee Trevino Drive around 5:45 Wednesday morning.

First responders transported Luz Groescel to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries a short time after her arrival. The driver of the Ford Mustang that struck her was identified as Edward Herrera, who was unhurt in the accident.
El Paso Police are still investigating what may have caused the fatal incident.
