HOUSTON, TX — A teenager was rushed to the hospital after a serious hit-and-run accident that happened in Houston, Texas on Thursday, August 21st, 2014, according to the article released by Click 2 Houston.
Accident investigators handling the incident say that an as-of-yet unidentified teenager was injured when they were struck by a vehicle when they were riding their skateboard in front of Landrum Middle School in the 2200 block of Ridgecrest around 1:15 Thursday afternoon.

The victim was rushed by paramedics to a nearby hospital where he remained in serious condition at the time of writing.
Authorities are currently looking for the driver, who fled the scene after colliding with the victim.
The investigation remains active and ongoing at this time.
