Houston, TX — A man was killed in an industrial accident in Houston, Texas, on Friday, August 22, 2014. The accident took place at Madden Bolt Galvanizing, in the 13000 block of Hempstead Road.
According to local officials, a piece of machinery exploded at the plant, which sent a large piece of shrapnel through the air, hitting and killing him. The man’s name has not been released, and there’s been no information on what caused the initial explosion.
Police are continuing to investigate.
