Delaware County, OH — Curtis and Patricia Dixon have been identified as the two victims in a tractor-trailer accident in Delaware County, Ohio, on Wednesday, August 20, 2014. The accident took place at the intersection of Route 23 and Route 229, around 11:30 in the morning.
The Dixons had stopped at the intersection for a red light when they were rear-ended by an 18-wheeler being driven by Randall Lee. The collision pushed them into an SUV and into the median.
Lee’s truck continued into the intersection, where it hit a pickup truck.
The Dixons died at the scene. Three others were taken to hospitals in Columbus. Lee and a passenger in his truck suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene. He’s been charged with two counts of vehicular homicide, a first-degree misdemeanors.
