Woodhull, IL — A semi-truck driver was killed and his passenger was injured in an accident that took place just south of Woodhull, Illinois, on Tuesday, August 19, 2014. The accident took place on Interstate 74, around 4:30 in the afternoon.
According to reports, the truck drove off the right side of the interstate, where it ran into a ditch and rolled over. Both occupants were taken to OSF St. Mary Medical Center. The driver was pronounced dead a short time later.
The names of the two individuals, as well as the condition of the passenger, were not available.
Police continue to investigate.
