Bedford, IN — A man was injured after a head-on collision in Bedford, Indiana, on Monday, August 18, 2014. The accident took place on U.S. 50, and involved two vehicles.
Reports indicate that Timothypal Gothra had attempted to pass a semi-truck in a no-pass zone. After coming into the oncoming lane of traffic, he saw a Chevrolet Lumina headed in his direction. Unable to move back into his own lane, Gothra collided with the Lumina, which was driven by Matthew Jacobs.
Gothra was uninjured in the accident. Jacobs was injured, although there’s been no word on the extent of those injuries.
