Corpus Christi, TX — An accident involving a semi-trailer left a driver hospitalized on Tuesday, August 19, 2014. The accident took place on Interstate 37, near Suntide Road.
According to reports, the truck, driven by an employee of M G Building Materials Inc., lost control while driving south along I-37. The driver over-corrected, popping the truck’s trailer onto the center median and blocking both north and south lanes of traffic.
The driver, who has remained unnamed, was taken to Christus Spohn. Officials have said his injuries were non-life-threatening. The cause of the accident is being investigated.
