Montgomery County, TX — One person was injured in an accident that took place in Montgomery County, Texas, on Wednesday, August 13, 2014. The accident took place on Highway 242, around 11:45 in the evening.
Larissa Fickel was driving along 242 when one of her tires blew out, dragging her vehicle into the oncoming lane of traffic where she collided with a Dodge 3500 driven by George Clark. The collision ripped one of the wheels from the pickup, spinning it around and sending it into the opposite lane of the highway.
Fickel’s vehicle came to a stop off the highway in a ditch. She was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital by emergency workers. At last report, she was listed in stable condition.
The investigation into the accident continues.
